Augmented Reality Experience in Architecture

I read an article today : Augmented reality experience in an architectural design studio
It was very interesting. Maybe not too unrelated to the new news about the Apple Vision Pro.

what is it about?

Well, it talks about the relationship between virtual reality and architecture. First, it explains how the way we look at design has changed over time and is still evolving. We used to write mostly. Now most of our hands are on the mouse. And maybe soon our hands will be in the air!

With the advent of programs such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, View, Blender, etc., the way designers look at problems has changed. It can be said that we can make more mistakes now. But is this good or bad? I think both of them.
Designing with programs gave us the opportunity to get acquainted with new ideas. We can make those ideas ourselves. When we use a program like Grasshopper, changing a value can make a huge difference.

On one of the pages, I see information from volunteers who tell their experiences after using these glasses. According to them, using these glasses makes the design simple. And this is very interesting. Will VR simplify designs?🤨 I don’t know! Maybe. I think we should give time and see how the designs made with these gadgets will be in the future.
